Volunteering

There are lots of different ways you can get involved in what we do at St Alban’s and St Mary’s.  If you’d like to be involved in helping out at one of our weekly activities, such as Thursdays Together, or with our Summer Holiday Tuesdays, or our children’s or youth activities, please speak to one of the church team, and fill in our volunteer form, here:

Volunteer Application Form

There are also lots of opportunities to be involved on a Sunday, from helping set up for the service, to helping with teas and coffees afterwards – speak to us for more information.

A list of all the different roles, as well as safeguarding information, is available on our safeguarding page.    Swaythling Parish is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All volunteers are expected to share this commitment.  All voluntary roles are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, which depending on the role, may include enhanced DBS checks.
