Community Builders is a new project funded by the National Lottery, aimed at helping people to set up arts and crafts based community groups, for ages 18-65, in and around Southampton.

As part of this, we’d like to see if we can set up an ongoing arts/crafts group for the Mansbridge area, with the support of Swaythling Housing and St Marys Church.

The group could involve Music, Art, Carnival Workshops, Drama, Photography, and even trips out, anything that helps bring people without costing a lot of money!

The first meeting of the new group will be at

St Mary’s Church Hall – Wessex lane, South Stoneham

On Friday 28^th September at 10am.

There will be a presentation explaining the project and showing example ideas, followed by refreshments and a chance to chat

If you're feeling in a bit of a rut, this could be just what you need! You don't need to be particularly talented in any area; just a willingness to meet people and have fun is all that’s required!
