Sunday 25th September is the day of the national initiative to invite people who have stopped going to church to consider coming back.
People lose touch with church for a variety of reasons, but since the Back to Church Sunday idea was launched in 2004, many have decided to link up with a church again, spurred on by an invitation from someone who already has the habit.
In our parish this year, we are extending the idea to cover a whole month, when there is a variety of services to suit all needs and tastes on offer.
Please think and pray about who you would like to invite, and encourage them to come with you.
If you are new to the area, and would like an invitation, please get in touch with one of the Clergy, or a Lay Pastor – all their names are on the back of the magazine.
