• Pray for Kate as she takes up her new post in Wiltshire; pray for the ministry team here, the PCC and Wardens, as we adjust our ministry now that she has moved on.
  
  
• Pray for the Annual Meeting on March 29th, for nominations to the PCC and as Wardens, and give thanks for all that has been achieved in the last year.
  
  
• Pray for our keeping of Lent, that we may have an holy Easter.
  
  
• Pray for all those thinking about Confirmation, and for the Bishops as they travel around the Diocese in their ministry of Confirmation.
  
  
• Pray for all those whose jobs and livelihoods are at risk, for those living off savings who find it difficult to make ends meet, and for those on low incomes and with little to look forward to.
  
  
• Pray for peace throughout the world, and for those parts of the world where there is great suffering caused by other human beings.

Some Lenten Prayers

God our Father, the strength of all who put their trust in you, mercifully accept our prayers; and because, in our weakness, we can do nothing good without you, grant us the help of your grace, that in keeping your commandments we may please you, both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Holy God, our lives are laid open before you; rescue us from the chaos of sin and through the death of your Son bring us healing and make us whole in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us both a sacrifice for sin and also an example of godly life; give us grace that we may always most thankfully receive these his inestimable gifts, and also daily endeavour to follow the blessed steps of his most holy life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
