• Pray for Vicky and Robin as they prepare to move to their new home in London.
• Pray for the Clergy and other ministers here as they plan Services for the next few months before a new curate arrives.
• Pray for all those returning to school or starting new schools this month - teachers and children; for students preparing to go to University; and for those whose futures are uncertain.
• Pray for the building works at St Alban's, and all those involved in managing the Project.
• Pray for St Mary's Congregations at the time of the Patronal Festival on September 11th.
• At Harvest Time, give thanks for all the good things of the earth, and remember those whose share in the earth’s bounty is so small.

O my God, how good you are,

How kind and loving too.

Help me to grow up more and more, Help me to grow more like you.

Day is done. Gone the sun

From the hill, From the sea,

From the sky.

All is well. Safely rest.

God is nigh.

Father, you created me in your image and likeness. I have come from you and I am ordained to you.

Watch over me. Inspire me to choose good and to avoid evil. Allow me the sensitivity to see the needs of my neighbour and the strength to respond gently.

Give me the courage to follow the truth, and the grace to know you my Father, Amen.
