Mission Coffee Mornings
We had a very nice letter from Macmillan Cancer Support, thanking us for the £95 raised at the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning held on a Friday in September at St Alban’s.

The Mission Coffee Morning in December will be on Wednesday, December 17th, 10.30a.m. in the Community Room at St Alban’s, in aid of the Mission Aviation Fellowship, a charity we have supported for many years, and all are welcome.

Creation Life Ministries

I was contacted a little while ago by the Parish Administrator of an Anglican Church in Bournemouth to ask whether we might be able to host the meetings of a Pentecostal Church which meets there, and which was hoping to open a branch in Southampton.
And so, a few days later, we met Innocent, and Penny, and other members of the leadership of Creation Life Ministries, and looked at the suitability of our buildings for what they were looking for.

In November they began using the Parish Hall at St Mary’s (sometimes being in the Church if the Hall is already in use by others, such as the Westfield Players) on Sunday afternoons from 1-4. Their meetings seem to be going very well, with lively worship and loud music, and we look forward to getting to know them better and working together with them in the future.

Save Your Stamps...

Cut the stamps off the letters you receive, and they can be used to raise funds for the Church. John Payne collects them, sells them at auction, and donates the proceeds to us. Get all you family and friends collecting as well. They can be left in envelopes or bags in either Church. Thank you.
